Daily Devotion Wednesday 11th June 2025 Message
Theme: God’s Strength in Our Weakness
Scripture: “But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.” — 2 Corinthians 12:9 (NIV)
Reflection:
We often try to hide our weaknesses—our flaws, our fears, our failures—believing they disqualify us from being used by God. But Paul reminds us that it’s in these very areas of vulnerability that God chooses to demonstrate His greatest strength.
Your weakness is not a limitation for God; it’s an opportunity for His grace to be magnified. When we stop pretending to be strong and instead surrender our limitations to God, we make room for His power to flow freely through us. Don’t be discouraged by what you lack. Be encouraged that God’s grace is sufficient for every insufficiency.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for the reminder that Your grace is enough. I lay down every weakness, every shortcoming, every place where I feel inadequate. Let Your power rest on me today. Use my life, not despite my weakness, but because of it. Be glorified in all that I do. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
